Waiting List Forms
RSCA's school population can never be predicted…it is in a continual state of flux. Availability can vary widely year to year. A number of our classes...especially our preschool classes...reach capacity very early in the registration process. Because of this, we have in place a wait list policy.
We invite you to call and make an appointment to tour our campus and meet our teachers. If the particular class you are looking for is currently full, you will be invited to place your name on our wait list. Below you will find one link to RSCA wait list policy and another link to the wait list application.
Please print these out, fill out as completely as possible and return to Risen Savior Christian Academy.

Georgia Private School Tax Credit Scholarship
Thanks to you and your generosity this fall, Risen Savior Christian Academy helped 6 students to attend RSCA through the Georgia Student Scholarship Fund, part of the Georgia Private School Tax Credit program. If 30 families participate at the $2,500 level…Risen Savior Christian Academy can raise $75,000 to fund financial aid during the 2020-21 school year. We thank you for your past participation and hope that you will consider participating again in 2020 to continue this worthy endeavor.
You may direct the use of your Georgia tax dollars to benefit Risen Savior students. Ultimately, there is no out of pocket commitment on your part…but the program does require an initial contribution by you. Your contribution is registered with Georgia and you are then able to claim a tax credit for the full amount of your initial contribution when you file your state tax return next year.
Please consider the following:
Applications begin processing on January 1, 2020 and the deadline is when the $100 million cap is met (in past years the cap has sometimes been reached on the first day).
Up to $100 million in state tax credits is available on a first come first served basis.
The maximum contribution is $2,500 (married filling jointly) and $1,000 (filing single).
Owner or member of an LLC, sub S-Corp, Partnership or other pass through identity up to $10,000 or your actual 2019 Georgia tax liability.
C-Corp or Trust up to 75% of 2019 Georgia tax liability.
GaSSO will do most of the work for you. Complete the application process at GaSSO’s website. GASSO will review the forms, make sure all the application is complete, submit them to the Department of Revenue, and track the progress until it is finalized.
You are asked to act now…before January 1. Please don’t miss the opportunity to redirect your Georgia taxes to Risen Savior Christian Academy. You may also report a charitable gift tax deduction on your Federal income tax return. If you have questions, please contact Principal Mark Thiesfeldt at 912.925.9431.
TADS Financial Assistance Application
Risen Savior has been able to provide some families with financial assistance for tuition through the Georgia Tax Scholarship. Risen Savior will once again be using a program called TADS to help us determine which families will need assistance and how much we will be able to provide for them. Families with students in the 4-year-old preschool level and the Elementary or Middle level of the Academy are eligible to apply. There is a $39 application fee when applying online through TADS. Please note: you must be enrolled at RSCA with registration paid for the upcoming school year and be current on any tuition payments to be considered for financial assistance.
To apply, visit: www.myTADS.com. You will need to click on Financial Aid Assessment and create a login for your family. Once created, you can search for Risen Savior Christian Academy and complete the application process. The time window to apply for assistance is open from February 15 until April 30. Please keep in mind that you may have to send in supporting documents into TADS and will need to be received before the end of the time window. Decisions will be announced to families near the middle of May.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
