Miss Sylvia Beahm - Kindergarten/ECE Director

Sylvia Beahm serves as the kindergarten teacher at Risen Savior Christian Academy. She was born and raised in Montello, Wisconsin. She attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 2005. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2009. She received a call to serve in the ministry in 2009 to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and taught preschool and served as director for 4 years. In the spring of 2013, she accepted the call to serve as the kindergarten teacher at Risen Savior. In 2016, she also took on the responsibility of RSCA's early childhood education director.
Mrs. Kirstin Collier - 3rd & 4th Grade

Kirstin Collier currently serves as 3rd grade teacher at Risen Savior Christian Academy. She was born and raised in Chesaning, Michigan. She attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota and graduated with Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2012. She received and accepted a call to serve in the ministry in May 2012 to Risen Savior in Pooler, Georgia beginning as an early childhoor director and preschool teacher.
Miss Liz Henke - 1st & 2nd Grade

Elizabeth Henke serves as the first and second grade teacher at Risen Savior Christian Academy. She was born and raised in New Berlin, Wisconsin. She attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 2010. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2013. She taught middle school Science and History at Risen Savior Lutheran School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for 6 months. She received a call to serve in the ministry in 2014 to Pooler, Georgia as the first and second grade teacher.
Mrs. Angela Pechman - 4 year-old Classroom

Angie Pechman serves as the 4 year-old teacher at Risen Savior Christian Academy. After growing up in Wisconsin, she attended Martin Luther College and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught various age groups throughout the years and has been a lead teacher in RSCA's preschool since 2012. Her husband, Brian, is the pastor at Risen Savior Lutheran Church. God has blessed her marriage with five children: Caleb, Abby, Naomi, Lydia, and Asher. She considers it a great privilege to serve her Savior and the families of the Academy.
Brian Pechman - Risen Savior pastor

Brian Pechman serves as pastor at Risen Savior Lutheran Church & Christian Academy. He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1974. After attending college, he went to graduate school (seminary), graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin with a Masters of Divinity in 2000. He has served congregations and schools in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Redding, California. He began serving at Risen Savior in late 2011. Pastor and his wife, Angie have been blessed with five children: Caleb (18). Abigail (16), Naomi (12), Lydia (10) and Asher (8).
Mrs. Dawn Riha - 2 & 3 year-old Classroom

Dawn Riha serves as the 2 & 3 year-old teacher at Risen Savior Christian Academy. She is originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin. She has been married for 25 years and has two grown children. Dawn has worked in Risen Savior's preschool program for 8 years. She worked alongside the preschool director and gained knowledge and experience, before working as a lead teacher. She continues to grow in knowledge by attending workshops and conferences.
Mr. Mark Thiesfeldt - Principal & 5th Grade Teacher

Mark Thiesfeldt serves as the principal and 5th grade teacher at Risen Savior. Mark was born and raised in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota in 2008 and received his Master of Science degree (educational leadership emphasis) from Martin Luther College in 2018. Prior to joining the staff at Risen Savior in 2018, Mark served for ten years as both principal and teacher - first in rural southwestern Wisconsin (2008-2014) and second in suburban Tampa, Florida (2014-2018). Mark and his wife Jessie have been blessed with three children: Annalise (RSCA class of 2025), Graham (RSCA class of 2027), and Mabel (RSCA class of 2030). Mark feels blessed to be part of the Risen Savior family and is looking forward to God's continued blessings in the future as both Risen Savior and the community continue to grow.
